nearly four years after being diagnosed with a severe case of keratoconus (a corneal disease) in both eyes and two cornea transplants later, i recently got the last of my stitches out from the last surgery. the next step is new glasses and new contacts. i can not wait for new glasses and i am hoping that they will be able to fit me with contact lenses. :pray:

i wish they can fit me with contacts, so far the left eye, which was operated on first, has not been able to be fitted with a good fitting lens. so i am hoping these next efforts will prove fruitful, plus a contact for the right eye :#1:
i will still have low vision/legal blindness but it should be better than what i have right now.
we should know more on the 16th of this month when i go to my low vision doctor and hopefully get my new stuffs for my eyes(or at least fitten for it).

most of you guys prolly take your sight for granted. don't vision is such a wonderful part of your senses. even with the limited vision i have i know what it is like to have less and what it feels like. take care of your eyes guys and by all means appreciate what you have :)

in appreciation of sight, perfect or not so perfect. i give you thumbs of eyes and peoples faces. eyes can tell so much about a person, from illness, to emotions, to age to even a persons character. please take a look into the wonderful eyes below, take a peer into their souls.
